Bike 2004 over the alps!

Here you can find some nice pictures, reports and maps of my latest bike event, the yearly bike tour (see pictures of the Bike 2002 tour here) with my father, brother and friends (and maybe there was also the ‘gemeine Karpatenbär’)

This year the tour has taken place in France, Italy and Switzerland over some of the highest points in the alps! For example, in the picture above, you can see the ‘Col de L’Iseran’, the second highest mountain pass of europe!

During the six days, we rode not less than:

  • nine mountain passes,
  • appoximatelly 400km and
  • the altimeter showed a sum of 9.000m.

Right after the outward journey we started with the small San Bernand for a starter, rode through france alongside the ‘Route des Grandes Alpes’.

After a short break in italy we went back to switzerland for the nicest two mountain passes I’ve seen.

See some more details behind the quicklinks to the right - have fun!
